History of Nuxley FC

Formed in 2005 Nuxley FC were previously known as Nuxley Village. They originate from a pub called The Village Inn, Belvedere who were the clubs original sponsor. The club was made up from local lads in and around the village.

For 4 seasons Nuxley Village played their home games at Danson Park, Bexleyheath before moving to their current homeground at Hall Place, Crayford and were managed by Scott. Half way through they 2009/2010 season Scott gave up the role he had held for 4 and 1/2 years.

Following Scotts departure long serving players Phil Bolton, Rob Jarvis and Dean Hurford took reign to guide the club through a dark period. After much debate Jason Sullivan took over in January 2010 as manager with the aim to see out the rest of the season.

After a steady start form started to pick up and a club that was on the brink of exsisting no more finished the 2009/2010 season on a 6 game unbeaten run. It was agreed that Jason Sullivan would stay on as manager into the 2010/2011 season.

With all the changes within the club during the 2009/2010 season it was agreed the club should be renamed and the "Village" label was dropped creating Nuxley FC. A new positive brand has attracted a new sponsorship deal with Daikin UK supplying training equipment and kit.
